These are the complementary and extracurricular activities that the English Department has planned for this academic year. We hope that you will participate in all of them since it will give you extra marks for the final evaluation of each term.
COMPLEMENTARY ACTIVITY (1st Term):
ENGLISH OLYMPICS!
These
Olympics will be carried out two days before Christmas in three different
rounds. The first one is a Cultural Quiz about
English culture, the second one consists of creating an original Christmas card,
and the last round is a speaking activity. The winners of these Olympics will
receive wonderful prizes!
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY (2nd Term):
TRIP TO MINAS DE RIOTINTO
This
trip will take place on February 2nd, from 8 a.m. to 17 p.m. It will have
three itineraries:
- A (mining museum and house nº21)
- B (Peña de Hierro)
- C (mining railway).
EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY (3rd Term): IMMERSION PROJECT
Enjoy
the experience of spending a week with a Welsh family in Cardiff! Discover the Welsh cuture and meet with your eTwinning friends during the Holy Week! You will never forget this experience!
